The Geoffs are a multi stylistic bunch of lads that bring
many genres and smash them into one to create a catchy sound that people of all musical tastes can enjoy.
Combining indie,alternative,and progressive rock and creating a sound that is unique to the Geoffs.
Originating from the sleepy suburbs outside Manchester known as Leigh,Astley and Tyldesley (by the way those towns brought together the world famous Buzzcocks), they have played many venues in the short time that they have been together.
The lads originally got together and performed live to appreciative audiences under the name of Halesis, however they felt a name change was due, partly because of a radio announcer introducing them as halitosis, which just goes to show the amount of education that is required to become a radio presenter.haha.
The band have played many live venues and the geoff's prize themselves on crowd participation which makes for a friendly atmosphere.They go down a storm and that is coming from me, who has been amongst that crowd.
Dont take my word for it though, go and experience it yourselves and be ever appreciative of me for pointing you in the right direction of a really excellent gig.!
